Vodafone's latest Rs 349 plan offers 3GB data/day

In an effort to compete with Reliance Jio and Airtel, Vodafone has now revamped its Rs 349 prepaid plan. The Rs99 plan comes with 26 days validity, whereas the Rs 319 plan offers 90 days validity.

According to telecom analysts, while disruptor Jio has been mostly an urban phenomenon, other incumbents have focused on rural markets which contributed to their growth in 4G. Also, there is no free caller tune offer with this plan.

Priced at Rs. 349, the plan comes with a validity of 54 days, and offers unlimited voice calls to its subscribers. This plan also comes with a validity of 28 days. BSNL will be broadcasting its 4G service in the 2100MHz band utilizing the unused spectrum to offer 2G, 3G and 4G services concurrently. Here are five best unlimited (voice or data) plans launched by BSNL recently under Rs 350. However, the Rs. 569 pack offers validity of 84 days, while the Rs. 349 recharge remains valid for 28 days.

In both packs users have unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day with daily/weekly FUP limit. This unlimited 3G mobile data STV-248 plan will offer 3GB of 3G mobile data per day for 51 days during IPL 2018. With the Rs. 149 plan giving a total of 42GB of 4G data for 28 days with a daily restriction of 1.5 GB data usage with unlimited call for voice roaming, STD and local, 100 SMS and Jio app subscriptions. The plans offer nationwide calling benefits, except for the Mumbai and Delhi circles. Jio's prepaid plan of Rs 448 also offers 2 GB 3G/4G and unlimited local and STD voice calls along with 100 SMS per day for a period of 84 days.

Airtel Prepaid Plan 349: Airtel launched the 349 plan previous year. Alongside the offer, Vodafone had also rolled out a Rs. 511 recharge pack that offers 2GB of daily data for 84 days.

Since Airtel was awarded the fastest 4G network in India by OpenSignal from December - February period, users looking for a similar plan can find comfort in the range of options the telco offers. That said, Vodafone's ₹349 prepaid plan with 3 GB data per day is only available in select few circles like Gujarat, Assam, Mumbai, Kerala, Maharashtra & Goa, Karnataka and North-East.
