UEFA announces referees of Champions League's final

Referee Milorad Mazic, who was voted the worst referee at the 2014 World Cup, has been appointed the leading official for this season's Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid. He was also in charge of two matches at the 2014 World Cup; Germany's 4-0 win over Portugal and Argentina's 1-0 win over Iran. A game that prompted the Iranian Coach, to speak out on the referee's performance asking "How can this guy sleep tonight, or for the rest of his life?"

Mazic refereed Real at the start of last season, sending off Sevilla's Timothee Kolodziejczak before the Bernabeu outfit won the UEFA Super Cup 3-2 in extra time.

Both Liverpool and Real Madrid progressed to the Champions League final after aggregate victories over Roma and Bayern Munich.
