According to KDKA-TV, DelTondo died at the scene. A suspect has not been named or arrested, with authorities citing an ongoing investigation.

"Nobody, including Ms. Deltondo, the Aliquippa Police Department, the juvenile male or his family, or any other person or agency had informed PA Cyber of this or any other incident".

School officials and members of the media received an anonymous email in October 2017, containing the 2016 Aliquippa police incident report which implied she inappropriately met with a 17-year-old boy, Times Online reported.

The report said that at roughly 1:50am on 6 February, 2016, they investigated a auto parked near an old hospital in the town of Aliquippa.

Police noted that the car's "windows were steamed over and the engine was not running".

Inside was DelTondo and the teen. Inside the auto they found the teenager and DelTondo.

Brian Hayden, CEO of Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, said that because he is a mandatory reporter, he had to notify Pennsylvania Childline when he received the email, even though it was about an incident that had happened almost two years earlier. Cops later found text messages and Snapchat messages which revealed the pair had a 'relationship'.

On May 14, 2018, in an otherwise a quiet lane in Beaver County, one of the DelTondo's neighbors counted six gunshots being fired outside the family's home.

She also said 'she didn't want her fiancé to know that she was here parked because he would get mad'. While her attorney reportedly advised her not to speak in detail regarding the incident, the suspended teacher did tell the media outlet she received death threats following the leak, which she said were reported to Aliquippa authorities.

"The reason this report was not filed in February 2016 with the Aliquippa School District, Children and Youth Services and a mandated report to the Department of Education was because it was an attempted cover up", the second email reads.

This decision contravenes worldwide law and in particular the UN Security Council and General Assembly resolutions. The latest casualties raised the Palestinian death toll to 73 since the protests started six weeks ago.

After receiving the email, her school announced that she was being suspended and "removed from the classroom pending an investigation".

"We have an active group with the Pennsylvania State Police, the Beaver County Detective Bureau and the Aliquippa Police Department working very hard together", Lozier said.

Brian Hayden, chief executive officer of the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, has today released a statement after learning of DelTondo's death.

On May 15, District Attorney David Lozier told reporters that while there is still not a suspect in the case, investigators now have a cell phone in their possession, and information from that phone will be retrieved. "We express our sympathy to her family and coworkers and will support them in any way possible in the weeks and months ahead as they mourn her passing".

The teacher was planning a big, elaborate wedding with her Italian-American family, which included a $10,000, custom-made dress from a NY designer, CBS Local reported. DelTondo told police that the teen was upset and they were friends who were just talking.

DelTondo reportedly put a $4,600 non-refundable deposit down on the custom dress.

The DelTondo family took the bridal shop to court, and eventually the shop refunded the deposit. By early 2017, they finally received a check in the mail.

'I don't know why that happened.

Another neighbour, Dan Casper, added: "I don't know why that happened".

DelTondo had just returned from getting ice cream on Sunday evening when she was shot dead.
