10th Result 2018 Tamil Nadu: SSLC Results TN, check tnresults

Almost 10 lakh students appeared for Tamil Nadu SSLC examination this year.

The official websites of Tamil Nadu DGE and board's official websites have not yet activated the links to check the results.

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE) has announced that the secondary school leaving certificate (SSLC) results for Class X will be released on Wednesday.

The Tamil Nadu State Board of Secondary Education (TNBSE) declared Plus 2 HSC Class 12 result 2018 on May 16.

Students who have appeared for the exam will need their examination roll number and date of birth to check their result. The overall pass percentage of TN class 10 is 94%. The Tamil Nadu board SSLC results were declared on May 25 in 2016. School Education Minister, K.A. Sengottaiyan was quoted in earlier reports saying, "CBSE is already following this, and why because other students who get even one mark less (than the rank holders) face severe stress". This year 8, 97,945 students out of 9, 50,397 students have cleared the matriculation exams. A total of 907620 candidates had registered for the exam (including private candidates).

The Tamilnadu class 10 SSLC supplementary exams 2018 will be held from 28 July this year.

The pass percentage of girls was 94.1 and for boys, it was 87.7. With 96.5% pass percentage, girls have outshined boys, who have secured a 92.5% pass percentage.

Sivagangai district has recorded the highest pass percentage 98.5%.

Out of almost 10 lakh students who attended SSLC exam this year, about 2.6 lakh have scored more than 400 out of 500. Candidates can check the results once it is officially announced. To know the TN SSLC Results 2018 online; you must keep the admit card/ hall ticket handy and login to the website.

May 23, 6.30 am: Students can check the result on the official websites tnresults.nic.in, dge1.tn.nic.in and dge2.tn.nic.in 9.30 am onwards.
