Rockets by the numbers: Chances of advancing to the NBA Finals

The Western Conference Finals has been a chaotic rollercoaster.

D'Antoni wouldn't speculate on Paul's availability if the Warriors force Game 7 on Monday night in Houston. As a walk-up to Game 6, let's step into the film room to take a closer look at how the Rockets held Golden State to fewer than 100 points for the second consecutive game, Eric Gordon's importance in Game 5 and for the remainder of the series, and adjustments to expect in Game 6. If Paul can find a way to get on the floor, even if it's in limited minutes, he is going to play.

Of course their 10-point lead at the half wasn't going to go unchallenged. In the past two fourth quarters, he's hit several tough, gusty shots over tight defense to give the Rockets a boost when they needed one.

Curry (the Warriors $201 million point guard) passed up the big shot, opting to trust Green to catch a pass and either stick a game victor or hit Klay Thompson in the corner. Don't be shocked if he starts Game 7 for Golden State. Durant specifically is averaging just under four assists per contest in the Warriors' two victories this series, but is averaging only a single dime in Golden State's three losses. Of course not; Curry deserves a great deal of blame, as do Thompson and Green.

"I think he'll play as soon as he can", D'Antoni said pregame.

"When your back's against the wall, it shows what you're made of", Thompson said. The Rockets' picked up the slack by offering his view on what's given his team the balance of power in the series: "I'm just missing shots".

On Saturday, the Warriors looked more like the team that swept through the West past year than the one that has struggled offensively against the Rockets.

Energy ETFs Plunge as OPEC Looks to Higher Production
When OPEC, Russia and other major producers meet in June "we will do what is necessary" to reassure buyers, the minister said. Brent futures fell 37 cents, or almost 0.5 percent, to $79.20 a barrel by 0636 GMT, after climbing 35 cents on Tuesday.

The Rockets, who led the league with 65 regular season wins, ran roughshod over Golden State in the opening quarter as they raced to a 39-22 lead.

Warriors: Coach Steve Kerr was unsure Thursday if Iguodala would be able to return for Game 6. Houston will have the home crowd at the their back, but Golden State has been here before.

The Rockets earned the right to play Game 7 at home by rolling to the NBA's best record.

Kerr said Iguodala keeps improving incrementally.

With Paul sidelined, the Warriors have to feel good about their chances to send this to a Game 7, despite their offensive struggles the last two games.

The Warriors, meanwhile, rebounded from a 4-for-18 first half from long distance with a 12-for-20 finish.

At this stage of his career, Durant has little to no weaknesses in his game.

With the light about to go out on their championship hopes, the Warriors found their fabled "switch" just in time.
