THE man outed as Brisbane's alleged poo jogger has resigned from his corporate role at a leading retirement village.

After using a night-vision camera to establish a usual time for the poop jogger to strike, a resident identified only as Steve waited outside in the early morning to catch him in the act.

Aveo, which was unaware of the charges until yesterday, says it is "distressed and disappointed" by the alleged incidents and it will "continue to extend its support to Mr Macintosh for help that he may require".

Residents of an apartment block in Brisbane had been complaining that someone had been defecating on their path three times a week at night for the a year ago.

Andrew Douglas Macintosh, 64, was charged with public nuisance last month after being photographed in the act by a Greenslopes resident who complained of a serial "pooper" outside their apartment.

Del Potro powers past Cilic to set up Rafa clash
Thiem's 35 match-wins this year are the most of any man on the circuit. "It's tough to speak now", del Potro said. The two first played each other in an ITF final in Modena, Italy in 2013 with Cecchinato winning.

Neighbours accused the man of doing a "dump and run" up to 30 times over a number of months, before they chose to setup a sting, which involved the installation of an infrared motion sensor camera.

"There's a red light which goes on before the camera's flash goes off and he saw that and looked at me as the photograph was taken".

Steve has since discovered that MacIntosh is married and lives in a well-kept house with a manicured garden not far from the apartment block.

"Then he just said, "Hello".

Macintosh faced Holland Park Magistrates Court this week before his charge was downgraded to an infringement notice, resulting in the fine. "At that point I made a decision to just walk away".

The photograph shows a grey-haired man with his trousers down. He did not have toilet paper on him though.
