When we revealed the Xbox Game Pass additions for June, there were only six titles mentioned. Whereas "Ready to Start" is manually configured by developers as they build their game, FastStart studies how gamers play the title and works out which files are needed to begin playing the game.

As such, there was a lot of soft pressure on Microsoft going into this year's E3 to, if not right the ship entirely, at least show signs of life. After all, the Xbox has the advantages of brand recognition, several big franchises, marketing muscle, and Microsoft money. Spencer said Microsoft is "dedicated to perfecting your experience everywhere you want to play; your Xbox, your PC and your phone".

Amid all of their game announcements, Microsoft let out some interesting tidbits about the future of Xbox during their E3 conference - and hinted at the possibility of multiple consoles being worked on.

Nearly three years after the release of Halo 5: Guardians, Microsoft unveiled an announcement trailer for a new Halo game called Halo Infinite at Xbox's E3 briefing on Sunday afternoon. Additionally it has announced the acquisition of Playground Games, and letters of intent to acquire Ninja Theory, Undead Labs and Compulsion Games. Microsoft is all about planning for the future and it's doing so in a way that Ubisoft and EA are both keen at tapping: streaming games.

There was no additional information from the White House or second source, rather it was only Trump's twitter account. He replaced Gary Cohn , who resigned after losing his battle against imposing tariffs on steel and aluminum imports.

Additionally, Spencer announced the creation of Microsoft's own new studio, The Initiative, which will be led by Darrell Gallagher, who joined Microsoft in April.

Spencer was not shy in confirming the development of Microsoft's next console, and it's not hard to think that the expansion of first-party developers, renewed partnerships with Japanese developers, and improved background technology aren't meant to pay dividends at all this generation. "We believe these teams have the collective creative power and operational excellence to deliver the next industry game changers". Microsoft says that you will, on average, be able to jump into your new game twice as fast as you did previously on the same net connection.

"Our cloud engineers are building a game streaming network to unlock console-quality gaming on any device", said the exec.
