The Celtics will join the rest of the National Basketball Association at the Las Vegas Summer League next month, where the team's new draft picks and other young players will compete.

They open Summer League play against the Toronto Raptors at the Thomas and Mack Center with tipoff scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

The Celtics will play the Philadelphia 76ers on July 6, the Denver Nuggets on July 7 and the Charlotte Hornets on July 9. The NBA released the Summer League schedule on Tuesday, bigger and better this year to include all 30 teams and 82 games over 12 days.

Each team will play a minimum of five games, beginning with three preliminary contests from July 6-10. The tournament-style format concludes with the title game on July 17 at 9 p.m. on ESPN.

Here's why Meghan Markle has to stand behind the other royals
At one point during the ceremony, the entire royal family stands before their public on a grand balcony. If there's anyone to copy for summer style inspiration, it's Meghan Markle .

The Thunder's only previous appearance at the Las Vegas Summer League came in 2009, the summer between the franchise's last season in Seattle and its first in Oklahoma City.

The Thunder doesn't have a first-round pick in this month's NBA Draft, but it has two second-round picks, which could produce players for its Summer League roster.

Every Las Vegas game will be broadcast by ESPN via the ESPN App, while 46 games will be televised on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU.

Pelicans forward Cheick Diallo and guard Frank Jackson are expected to play for New Orleans.
