Meanwhile, talented players like Kemba Walker, Kevin Love, Hassan Whiteside, and a host of others - including core members of the Toronto Raptors - could be available on the trade market as teams look to reload for next season, or change the course of their franchises in the coming months.

Kawhi Leonard of the San Antonio Spurs stands on the court during Game One of the NBA Western Conference Finals against the Golden State Warriors at ORACLE Arena on May 14, 2017.

San Antonio is reported to want to mend fences with Leonard, who missed the majority of previous year with a quad injury, differences in opinion on the rehabilitation of which caused some tension within the organization. Leonard, 26, is eligible to receive a five-year, $219 million contract extension that the two are expected to discuss.

Enter: the Boston Celtics.

According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Boston Celtics contacted the Spurs and proposed a trade to them to acquire Kawhi Leonard, but it was turned down.

While nearly all Android OEMs have switched to the USB-C connector on their flagship devices, some continue to launch their budget devices with a microUSB port.

"If reconciliation talks don't go well with Leonard, San Antonio has time to reconsider that stance".

Wojnarowski noted that the Spurs "remain resistant to trades" when it comes to Leonard, but he added that the Lakers and 76ers have become interested as well.

As of right now, Boston has the most appealing assets: starry young players and Sacramento's No. 1-protected 2019 first-round pick.

During the playoffs, an injured Leonard caused a stir when he was not on the sidelines with the team, only to be spotted at a Los Angeles Dodgers game shortly afterwards, fuelling rumours that the relationship between Leonard and the team that drafted him had soured.

Wojnarowski also claims that Eastern Conference finalists Boston made a play for the Los Angeles native earlier this year after learning of the growing discontent between player and staff.
