Steven Gerrard's Rangers, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in signing Ryan Gauld from Sporting Lisbon in the summer transfer window, according to TEAMtalk.

A move for Connor Goldson is set to be announced this week and the Gers have now turned their attentions to Slaven Belupo stopper Katic as Gerrard looks to further strengthen his defensive line.

'He is a legend of football all over the world and I am glad to be here with him. I can play in Europe and play in front of 50,000 fans at every home game.

Gerrard is keen on the 21-year-old, although Russian side Spartak Moscow are also in the running for the NK Slaven Belupo player. "It is good to be here and this is a big step for me", he told RangersTV.

"I've seen the stadium on television and I have read about the fans and the rivalry with Celtic".

Ariana Grande Spotted Rocking Engagement Ring Before Announcement
US Weekly reports that friends have called the pair a "perfect fit", although said that they are "not rushing to get married". It's shocking that no one saw the engagement ring considering how noticeable it is.

Katic will be the fourth Croatian to play for Rangers after Dado Prso, Nikica Jelavic and Niko Kranjcar, admitting: 'Everyone has said they did a good job here and now I have a job to hold that tradition here.

"Rangers needs to be in with the top European clubs, and I will try with the other players to move this club to the top of European football".

A fee of around £3.5 million was reportedly agreed between the two clubs last week, with official confirmation expected before the weekend.

The Light Blues have completed four deals already ahead of the new campaign as Scott Arfield, Allan McGregor, Jamie Murphy and Ovie Ejaria have signed on the dotted line.
