His woes at Manchester United cost him a place in the World Cup squad for France this summer, who are heading to Russian Federation looking to take back football's most coveted trophy.

In an interview on French radio station RMC, Philippe Lamboley confirmed Manchester United forward Martial is eyeing a transfer this summer. For now, it's premature to talk about it. Anthony will speak later to explain all of this.

"Manchester United want to extend Anthony's contract and do not want him to leave, but we have not been able to find an agreement for several months".

"I cannot say anything on the subject at the moment but you think that from the moment a player like Anthony is on the market a lot of clubs are interested". This is why the decision has come.

"It's important to remember that he is under contract and that Manchester United will have the last word", Lamboley added.

Final preparations begin for Trump-Kim high-stakes summit
Lee complimented the bold and admirable decision by Kim and Trump to come together for the summit. Trump travelled to Singapore from Canada, where he attended a meeting with other world leaders.

Martial is under contract for next season and the United also have the option for the 2019-20 season.

The 22-year-old has turned into a fan favourite in the stands and all over the world during his three seasons in Manchester, and his agent has admitted that if it wasn't for the love from supporters he would have left earlier. I can tell you that without the unconditional support of the fans, Anthony would have already asked to leave United. It is important to remember that this season he scored 11 goals and gave ten assists in five months. He was chosen Player of the Month three times by fans. "Anthony just wants to play, to feel happy and connect with his coach, that is essential". I will not comment on the consequences of this transfer window.

"Everyone will have their opinion but I think he needs to resume his career". His relationship with Mourinho grew frostier by the day and game time was hard to come by for the youngster.

Martial has been linked with a move away from United this summer, with reports claiming that Juventus, Barcelona, Chelsea and Arsenal are all interested in signing the Frenchman.
