And in a way, that is what the Duchess of Sussex got on Thursday when she accompanied The Queen on a series of engagements in Cheshire.

To bump the look up a notch, the Duchess of Sussex added a Givenchy belt and clutch and simple black pumps from Sarah Flint.

And though the Duchess looked stunning in her cream-colored sheath dress by Givenchy - the same label that designed her wedding gown - many fans pointed out that it was a rather understated look for the often outspoken Markle.

Meghan Markle revealed that she was leaving Suits and her character Rachel Zane behind after she announced her engagement to Prince Harry.

But the duchess was without gloves.

Markle also took the time to talk to locals, many of whom were interested to know how her life had changed since marrying Prince Harry.

It's protocol for The Queen to enter the auto first, but the monarch seemed happy to allow Meghan to enter before her.

Some people thought the dress the Duchess of Sussex wore during Saturday's Trooping the Colour broke royal protocol with its off-the-shoulder design. As she and her new husband drove off to the reception at Frogmore House, she was photographed wearing the baby blue, square Asprey ring - the very same one that belonged to Diana.

After the day's royal engagements wrapped up, the pair headed to Chester Town Hall for a lunch, before hopping back on the train back to London.
