Millie Bobby Brown Deletes Her Twitter After Becoming A 'Homophobic Meme'

Millie Bobby Brown has apparently deleted her Twitter account after being the subject of a series of vile, homophobic memes.

"Good morning to everyone except gay people", says one caption over a Snapchat filtered picture of the 14-year-old.

They continue: "She is a f**king child and you are cracking jokes about her hating gay people and wanting to kill them when she hasn't done anything wrong?" Some Twitter users believe this was meant to be absurd - Brown is too young to even drive and has no history of anti-LGBTQ comments. Also, in the same year, she wore an LGBT pin to the MTV Awards.

And some of the memes are just racist and homophobic.

It's easy to see why Millie might not see the amusing side, considering she's very young and how easy sarcastic memes can be misconstrued by the oblivious masses. How that turned into the "faggot" memes, though, doesn't seem to be something anyone can explain.

There's a history of users bullying public figures on social media, until they've decided they've had enough. In the viral image, Brown and Sartorius stood atop a lifeguard stand on a moonlight beach where they shared a sweet kiss.

Spurs had been due to host Watford on 1 September, but the Hornets agreed to swap the fixture's venue to Vicarage Road. It is a similar story for neighbours United, who begin at home to Leicester.
