Sarah Huckabee Sanders responds to report she’s leaving the Trump administration

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders responded via a tweet to a CBS News report Wednesday that she was planning to leave the White House by year's end.

CBS News reports that Sanders and Deputy Press Secretary Raj Shah are both going to leave the Trump Administration.

"Does [CBS News] know something I don't about my plans and my future?" she posted. "I love my job and am honored to work for @POTUS", she tweeted.

Trump has been cited as a possible nominee since Kim ended a series of provocative threats and missile tests previous year . Trump sat down with Kim on Tuesday for the first meeting between a sitting USA president and North Korean leader in history.

CBS News wrote that neither "Sanders nor Shah immediately responded to repeated requests for comment".

Sanders, who has drawn criticism over the past several months for openly lying from the White House podium, has not yet publicly set the exact date for her departure.

Sanders, the daughter of former Arkansas Governor and failed presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, assumed the role of press secretary after the exit of Sean Spicer in June 2017.
