Tesla to Roll Out Software with Self-Driving Focus

And while cars produced since October of 2016 have all the hardware Tesla says is necessary for self-driving, enabling that hardware requires paying a total of $8,000 in optional fees for many Tesla vehicles. The mentioned specifications were apparently for the "base version" of the next-gen Roadster.

Elon Musk made a surprise unveiling back in November 2017 when he presented the new Roadster, a sports auto that he claims will be able to go from 0 to 60-mph in just 1.9 seconds, making it the "fastest production vehicle ever" made.

Tesla unveiled the new Roadster in November. Also with the Model Y SUV in the pipeline, the new Roadster has been slated for 2020.

From dynamic-looking rear lights to a sharpened front end - complete with more pronounced wheel arches - the updated Tesla Roadster looks like the meaner cousin of the Model 3, and that can only be a good thing.

Spurs had been due to host Watford on 1 September, but the Hornets agreed to swap the fixture's venue to Vicarage Road. It is a similar story for neighbours United, who begin at home to Leicester.

Unlike the Model 3, the Tesla Roadster isn't created to try to replace our cheaper petrol cars with EVs.

The company wouldn't elaborate on exactly what the features are, by the way, but we'd suggest they'll take better advantage of the Enhanced Autopilot suite listed on the Tesla website. When first introducing the new Roadster, Musk called it a "hardcore smackdown to gas-powered cars", that would make petrol-burners look like "steam engines with a side of quiche", according to Business Insider. The negative coverage of Autopilot, combined with ongoing challenges with Model 3 production, battered Tesla's stock, though it has recovered some losses this month. That's not as fast the Koenigsegg Agera S, but with that acceleration, I don't think anyone will mind.

Spent air from the thrusters would be refilled immediately using the Roadster's batteries to power air pumps, which in lesser electric vehicles may be a reduced range concern.

Big response or a clever decoy?
