Ousted Pakistan prime minister Nawaz Sharif's son-in-law was arrested today as he dramatically resurfaced in the garrison city of Rawalpindi to lead a rally of supporters, two days after being sentenced to jail in a corruption case related to the Panama Papers scandal. She said she would reach Lahore airport on Friday at 6.15 p.m.by Ittehad Airways' flight EY-243.

Quoting unnamed sources, Geo TV correspondent said people on the Exit Control List do not face any hurdle in their return but are arrested the one moment they land at airport.

"On the announcement of the Sharif family that Nawaz and Maryam are arriving in Lahore on Friday at 6.15 pm we have written to the Punjab government to coordinate with NAB for their arrest at Lahore airport", a National Accountability Bureau (NAB) official said.

A possible tornado has been spotted in the Shamrock area, 100 kilometres southwest of Moose Jaw. Environment Canada said it is a unsafe and potentially life-threatening situation.

Safdar went into hiding after an anti-graft court convicted him last Friday, along with former premier Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawaz, over purchases of luxury apartments in London. She has been awarded an additional one year's imprisonment on charges of forgery, using Calibri font to fabricate Avenfield properties trust deeds.

The convicted father and daughter are in London now, and expected to return to Pakistan on Friday. She is suffering from lymphoma (throat cancer).
