Caroline Flack has announced that her engagement to Andrew Brady is over in an emotional statement confirming their split.

Caroline was also missing from Love Island last night, as the dumped islanders received a text to let them know the results of the vote, rather than Caroline coming into the villa and announcing them herself as usual.

Their split may come as a shock to fans as just this month Caroline penned a romantic letter to Andrew in the new issue of Cosmopolitan magazine.

According to a source of The Sun's: "She's finally realised all the rumours about him were true. I look at you and I think, 'Yes, Andrew, you're the one I've been waiting for'".

"At this point she feels like he has used her so much, and that he's full of lies".

Caroline's representatives declined to comment. "I wish him all the best".

As Caroline mentioned she has the Love Island villa to keep her busy and we 'll just have to wait and see what Andrew does next. Caroline, 38, and Andrew, 27, briefly split in March when the reality TV hunk was accused of getting close to another woman.

In a statement, the stunning host confirmed that she and Andrew were no longer together, before sharing her heartbreak on Twitter by sharing a crying face emoji. "It's back to the ol" grafting'.

She said: 'People talk about meeting someone and feeling as though you've known them your whole life. I'll never forget seeing you walk into the restaurant - tall, with a smile 10 miles wide, not just for me but for everyone in there. Talking to you was effortless.
