Jason Momoa Cast in Lead Role for Apple Drama Series See

Society is then thrown into chaos when "a set of twins with sight is born", and boy, are they going to be shocked when they see Jason Momoa there.

The Game of Thrones alum has signed on to headline Apple's in-the-works futuristic drama series from Peaky Blinders EP Steven Knight, TVLine has learned.

Momoa's casting is really our only clue as to what the heck this series is about, and its about as intriguing as clues get. Most recently, he has landed the role of Aquaman and stars in the Netflix series Frontier.

Lost on Mars will be available as part of the $29.99 / £25.99 / €29.99 season pass, or as an individual purchase. Future content will also offer thematic assets that's going to be added to Far Cry Arcade for free.

The eight-episode series is described as an epic, world-building drama set in the future.

Momoa is no stranger to TV, starting his career on shows like Baywatch and Stargate: Atlantis before securing his breakout role as Khal Drogo on HBO's Game of Thrones. Momoa will play Baba Voss (and doesn't that name just give you Dothraki vibes?) a fearless warrior, leader and guardian.

Knight and Lawrence executive produce alongside Chernin Entertainment's Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kristen Campo.
