While the successor to the iPhone X will be essentially an upgraded iPhone X alongside a bigger 6.5-inch Plus-sized iPhone, the industry is more interested in the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone that's supposed to be the new budget offering in this year's iPhone lineup.

Shares of Apple, which usually launches iPhones in the second half of the year, fell 2.2 percent to $189.20 (roughly Rs. 12,800).

The images of the new model look similar to the iPhone X that was reveal in 2017, but this one has a more plain-looking backside.

DigiTimes also claims that Apple has nearly single-handedly booked Nichia to manufacturer the chips for its new device for the rest of the year, with increased production to start in September when the handset is due to be announced. During the same period in the previous year, the company earned $2.10 EPS. research analysts expect that Apple Inc. will post 11.42 earnings per share for the current fiscal year.

Clement Lenglet: Barcelona sign Sevilla centre-back and add £265m release clause
The defender becomes Barcelona's second new signing in the space of two days after Brazilian midfielder Arthur joined from Gremio. The French global joined Sevilla from Nancy in January 2017 and scored four goals in 52 games last season.

Analysts predict that Apple will be discontinuing the iPhone X and the budget-friendly iPhone SE this coming fall season.

The analysts didn't share any other insights into what the three iPhone models this year might offer. This claim analysts at BlueFin Research. The major difference between the iPhone X and the iPhone 8 is lack of a fullscreen display and the presence of the FaceID system.

The strong demand for this year's handsets is due in large part to the "lack of upgrade activity over the past few years", according to Barron's, which earlier cited the investor note. Apple also launched the (PRODUCT) RED versions of iPhone 8 and 8 Plus last month for a financial contribution to the noble cause of efforts to fend off AIDS. Streaming Netflix or Amazon Prime video (and no, I have no problem watching video on the iPhone SE) in low power mode also significantly extends the overall battery life.

In the latter two quarter of 2018, iPhone is planning to manufacture 91 million units, the analysts have claimed. The first 28 million units will be made in the third quarter, the rest of the 63 million should enter production by the last quarter.
