It's called the Mulsanne W.O. Edition, paying homage to company founder W.O. Bentley.

Bentley's internal coachbuilder, Mulliner, has designed the W.O. with nearly a century's worth of Bentley history in mind, with particular influence drawn from the 1930s, when Walter delivered his final project - the 8-litre.

Yes, all 100 of the Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner models will have a piece of Bentley's original 8 Litre vehicle inside. It featured the most powerful engine of any vehicle available in Britain at the time - a 7,983cc straight six. It was bought back by Volkswagen Group-owned Bentley in 2006, when the auto then underwent a restoration, including replacing the original crankshaft. Slices of the original crankshaft will be set into the interior of each Mulsanne W.O. Edition. These are matched by a cocktail cabinet that features a display with the crankshaft of the founder's 8 Litre (see gallery), which was rebuilt back in 2006 when it was bought back by Bentley.

Dolby Vision is coming to Xbox One
Not all features will be available to all users on the same day, but should instead roll out to Preview members gradually. It certainly counts as another feature Xbox has that PS4 doesn't, but it does come with some expensive caveats.

The rich red interior design pays homage to W.O. Bentley's original 8 Litre vehicle from 1930.

The hero color for the auto will be Onyx black, though customers will be able to specify alternatives, and there will be further special touches such as a chrome hood strip and available chrome radiator shell and grille. The wood dash features the founder's signature, which is also displayed on the front bumper, while there's centenary badging located on the sills and wheel centres. An inscription sits just below this, detailing the significance of this piece of Bentley history.

The Mulsanne is already a special auto but the Mulsanne W.O. Edition by Mulliner will feature some unique touches. Dark Satin Burr Walnut veneer accents the interior, with Fireglow lambswool rugs, glass tumblers and, of course, privacy curtains. Bentley dropped the first photos on Thursday and confirmed the public debut will take place during the 2018 Monterey Car Week, which runs August 18-26.
