The Russo Brothers, who directed Boseman in Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and the upcoming Avengers 4, will produce 17 Bridges under their recently launched Agbo banner.

Fresh off his turn as King T'Challa aka Black Panther in Disney/Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War, Chadwick Boseman is reteaming with Joe and Anthony Russo to produce and star in the action thriller 17 Bridges from STXfilms. But its director is a slightly bigger name: it'll be helmed by Brian Kirk, who's probably best known for directing the first two episodes of the Idris Elba detective series Luther and a handful of episodes in the first season of HBO's Game of Thrones.

Chadwick Boseman will step out of Wakanda for the NY police drama 17 Bridges.

The movie will start production in September.

Chadwick, along with his partner, Logan Coles is also going to be producing The Stars in My Soul. The character also had a major role in Avengers: Infinity War, and is set to appear in the film's currently-untitled sequel.

Four-year-old STX has been amping up its roster of mid-priced action movies with recognizable stars, including the upcoming "Mile 22" starring Mark Wahlberg and "Peppermint" with Jennifer Garner. A movie franchise titled Muscle has been announced with Vin Diesel as the lead.
