The new version of Samsung Calendar was released in the Galaxy Apps store last week, so it should slowly appear for everyone in the coming days.

The rumor originates from South Korea, where The Bell claims that only the standard and premium Galaxy S10 iterations will carry an in-display fingerprint sensor. It seems the handset might have its fingerprint scanner mounted on the side. However, there is very little practical use of the feature unless you love decorating your calendar with stickers.

The patent reveals a system very sharp used by facial recognition of a Galaxy S10 - who would be entitled to more improvement than expected. The 2 of the high-end models among the 3 that Samsung has plans for will have one 12MP standard camera of dual aperture, one 13MP longer focal length camera and one 16MP wide-angle camera. The sources added that a 16-megapixel "super-wide angle" camera will be added to greatly improve landscape photography. The FOD unit cost $15 per unit which is about seven times the cost of a physical fingerprint sensor.
