No other team has given Smart an offer yet, though he was seen talking to Nets general manager Sean Marks Monday, according to the Athletic.

But the Celtics - be it Ainge or head coach Brad Stevens - both have said they would like the restricted free agent back next season. It was taken Monday night, Scotto said. "We're all here watching all the teams play in the summer league, watching different guys work out".

If Smart signs an offer sheet with the Kings and Boston declines to match it, it will be a blow to a Celtics defense that was among the best in the National Basketball Association last season.

Facebook hit with first fine in Cambridge Analytica data breach scandal
It later launched an investigation that included political parties, data analytics companies and major social media platforms. The British agency said Facebook may have had a "missed opportunity" in 2014 to have thwarted Kogan's activities on the site.

Smart was also asked if he is optimistic he will eventually receive a substantial offer, and he didn't exactly sound confident. The former Oklahoma State star told ESPN in May that he believes he is worth more than $12 million to $14 million a year. The Boston Globe reported Smart has already met with two teams and has two more meetings set up for today.

Smart averaged 10.2 points and 4.8 assists last season. He was limited to 54 games due to hand injuries, which included needing surgery on a torn thumb ligament.

Smart has appeared in 70-plus games once in his first four seasons, and he's a career 29.3 percent shooter on three-pointers. He has backed up Isaiah Thomas and Kyrie Irving in Boston. "Our priority is still Marcus in free agency, and that's where we are".
