Odyssey has unveiled its new Red Ball Putter, which is a revolutionary design that has been created to enhance the way in which golfers align their putter.

The key to the new putter design is an actual red ball, which is positioned under a "scope", built into the topside of the clubhead.

By placing the head so the Red Ball can be seen exactly in the middle of the Scope from above, golfers can instantly see that they are giving themselves the best possible conditions to deliver a repeatable stroke to hole more putts.

Designers at Odyssey have been pushing the limits of alignment, high MOI forgiveness, and face insert technology seemingly forever, and certainly since the original Two-Ball putter came out in 2001 and quickly became the biggest seller in the industry.

"It's not just that golfers get in an improper setup, it's that their setup changes from round to round, and sometimes from hole to hole", said Luke Williams, Odyssey's senior director of product and brand management for putters.

To help improve alignment, Odyssey added Versa high contrast technology to the top of the head.

I won't be adding to any speculation". "It's hard to put a number on how many more players we will sign in this window". There's just a few more pieces missing, maybe. "The board have been superb.

"We are essentially able to remove all variables in your putting set up as you will be able to replicate your alignment and set up putt after putt".

The Odyssey Red Ball putter is created to specifically help with set up and alignment.

"Available in right and left-handed models, with a DFX grip as standard, in lengths 33", 34" and 35".

Makes Set-Up Easy and Consistent: The Red Ball in the Scope of the Putter allows golfers to consistently get into the proper set-up over the ball. The White Hot RX insert features oval dimples that were injection molded directly into elastomer for a consistent roll.

Odyssey's Red Ball putter retails for $180 in a face-balanced mallet shape.
