Samsung is all set to unveil its next flagship smartphone, Galaxy Note 9 at Galaxy Unpacked event on August 9.

A source with a respectable track record has leaked what appears to be promotional material for the Galaxy Note 9. The photo was published earlier today and, though its origin is unknown, it looks legit. The company is expected to introduce this feature on the Galaxy Note 9 and expand the role of the S-Pen. From left to right, we've got the S Pen slot, speaker grille, microphone, USB-C charging port, and 3.5mm headphone jack - no, Samsung isn't about to get courageous anytime soon.

After a brief pause, once again more details for the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 have come to light today. Apart from the repositioned fingerprint scanner, the Note 9 is likely to sport the same design as the predecessor Note 8. As for market availability, at least in South Korea, the Galaxy Note 9 will roll out on August 24 which is only two weeks after the official announcement. That is how it is on the Galaxy Note 8 as well. Samsung made some big changes on the S9 lineup as both the devices are the first of their kind to feature variable aperture rear cameras. It was revealed during the pre-briefing that the Note 9's base variant will be carrying a price tag of PLN 4,299 (~$1,163).

"Global units will arrive with Exynos 9810 chipset, but some markets like the U.S. and China will stick to Snapdragon 845", the report added.
