Steven Gerrard vows to make Umar Sadiq a Huge Star

Rangers are aiming to recruit more players in an effort to create a strong and well-balanced squad that can excel on both domestic and European fronts, manager Steven Gerrard has said.

Gerrard has hailed what he describes as the "superb support" of the Rangers board for his summer recruitment drive which has seen him make nine signings so far.

Club historian David Mason on the comparisons between the first games of the Steven Gerrard and Graeme Souness.
