Just three months after FX announced they'd be turning Guerra and Brian K. Vaughan's beloved graphic novels into a series with Luke Cage's Aida Mashaka Croal and American Gods' Michael Green serving as co-showrunners, the network has announced their cast and it is stellar. The new world order of women will explore gender, race, class and survival. Keoghan is on the verge of becoming a breakout star, but he's a surprising choice for Yorick with his two biggest roles to date being humble George from Dunkirk and the super creepy Martin in The Killing of a Sacred Deer. Both roles earned him a spot on Variety's "10 Actors to Watch" for 2017. Keoghan is repped by WME, Management 360 and Troika UK. She is a tough and confident EMT who nurses a deep emotional trauma that often leads her to cross personal and professional lines.

Y is an incredibly cinematic comic, and if it has to exist outside that medium, I'm glad to see it come together as a long-form TV show instead of trying to cram 60 issues of story into one film (or maybe a trilogy). Her television credits include Showtime's "Roadies", BBC's "Miss Austen Regrets", and BBC's "Christopher and His Kind". Poots is with CAA and Troika.

Justice League actress Diane Lane will play Yorick's mother, Senator Jennifer Brown, a first-term lawmaker dealing with the fallout of the plague. Like Hero, she's got a really interesting trajectory in the comics and one that doesn't go where you'd expect. She is repped by UTA.

Justin Bieber & Hailey Baldwin Are Back in New York After Getting Engaged!
My heart is COMPLETELY and FULLY YOURS and I will ALWAYS put you first! You are the love of my life, Hailey Baldwin . You make me so much better and we compliment each other so well! I wouldn't want to spend it with anybody else.

Another rich character is 355, who will be played by Lashana Lynch, "a Secret Service agent who performs the duties of her job with the utmost professionalism, even under the most unexpected set of circumstances". A Brooklyn-based knife maker, Beth grew up on a farm and went to NY to experience the big city. She holds an MFA from the Yale School of Drama. She is repped by ICM and Brookside Management.

Marin Ireland (Sneaky Pete, Masters of Sex) as Nora, the president's assistant. Ireland is repped by ICM Partners and Untitled. After years as a potential movie, Blade Runner 2049's Michael Green and Luke Cage veteran Aïda Mashaka Croal are shepherding a pilot for a series on USA network FX.

With Melina Matsoukas as director of the pilot, the show will now have to pass muster with executives if it's to move forward.
