Trump says recent poll shows he's more popular than Lincoln

President Donald Trump has always been obsessed with polls and ratings, though his dismal approval numbers in office have unsurprisingly led him to largely stop mentioning the subject.

President Donald Trump proclaimed to a British tabloid Thursday a poll shows he is more popular than President Abraham Lincoln.

"I beat our Honest Abe", Trump said.

As Business Insider's Josh Barro pointed out, this claim made no sense. Gallup had Bush in the mid- to high-90s among Republicans through much of 2002, peaking at 98 percent at multiple points. New Poll says Trump, at over 90%, is the most popular Republican in history of the Party. Wow!

Godzilla Vs. Kong Looks To Be Adding A Black Panther Star
Deadline reports Black Panther and The Walking Dead star Danai Gurira is now in talks to join the cast of Godzilla vs Kong . Adam Wingard , the filmmaker behind You're Next , The Guest , and Blair Witch , will direct the film.

He also added that if England had honest polling, he'd be popular there too.

There may be some other weird explanation for Trump's comments - or he might have just made it up on the spot. He said he is aware of a 20-foot-tall blimp created to look like an infant Trump that protesters plan to fly during his visit to the United Kingdom this week.

"But the people of the United Kingdom, and I'll bet if you had an honest poll, I'd be very strong", he said, The Sun reported.
