The presence of these issues, in the letters delivered to Putin, underscores the assertion by Tehran's embassy in Moscow that Velayati will meet the Russian energy minister after his meeting with Putin.

Velayati arrived for his meeting with Putin carrying two personal messages for the Russian president, one from Khamenei and the other from Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.

"Qassemi said after Trump's "strategic mistake" to exit the multilateral and global accord, Iran made a decision to dispatch a number of its special representatives" to other countries to "carry messages of high-ranking" Iranian officials about the country's viewpoints and stance on the "selfish" U.S. behavior which runs counter to worldwide regulations.

As Syrian President Bashar al-Assad overcomes one of the last bastions of a 2011 uprising backed by the West, Turkey and Gulf Arab states, neighboring Israel has increasingly warned against perceived violations of the 1974 non-aggression pact between the two warring governments under the auspices of the United Nations.

The Iranian spokesperson explained that Velayati's visit to Moscow was in line with such a policy and noted that he would also travel to China. Velayati was Iran's foreign minister at the time of the AMIA atrocity on July 18, 1994, when 85 people died and hundreds more were wounded after a truck packed with explosives drove into the Jewish organization's main building in the Argentine capital.

Trump administration takes another swipe at 'Obamacare'
The ambiguity involved in the conflicting New Mexico and MA rulings may mean the suspension of payments will indeed be temporary. This provision, called "guarantee issue", remains one of the most popular among consumers, according to numerous opinion polls.

"He makes baseless and illogical remarks and nobody cares about his words", the Iranian official said. However, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Tuesday the United States might consider requests from some countries to be exempted from sanctions.

"Therefore, his presence or absence in Russian Federation has no effect on our strategic mission", he added.

Velayati also said Iran and Russian Federation would "continue to cooperate in Syria", where both countries support President Bashar al-Assad's forces in the seven-year civil war there. Both the United States and Israel want Iran to pull out from Syria, but Russian Federation has warned it would be unrealistic to expect Iran to fully withdraw from the country.

Trump and Putin are expected to discuss Iran's regional role and the Syrian conflict at a summit in Helsinki next Monday.
