With the launch of Pokemon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee! happening later this year on November 16, this announcement may indicate the production of other Pokemon Funko in the future, although nothing more has been announced at this time. Further helping push that idea is a new trailer released on Thursday, which showed off some fresh footage of the Kanto region.

Customization of you and your companion creatures is a huge draw for Pokemon Let's Go.

By having certain Pokemon exclusive to each game, the idea is that it will encourage players to trade with one another in order to fully complete their Pokedex. Charmander and its evolutions look to be hanging around Route 25, above Cerulean City towards Bill's house, and Spuirtle and Wartortle can be found near Vermillion City and Diglett Cave. They also feature integration with Pokemon Go; players can catch wild Pokemon in the Switch games by simulating throwing a Poke Ball, as well as transfer monsters they've captured in the mobile game over to the Let's Go titles. For years, version-exclusive Pokémon have been a genius trick on Nintendo's part.

Pikachu Is The First Pokémon Funko Pop Figure

Either way, it looks like Funko must employ a lot of Ishmaels, because they were clearly able to reach an agreement with Nintendo to allow the Pikachu figure to go ahead. Meanwhile, Bellsprout, Vulpix and Meowth will appear in Let's Go: Eevee.

Of course, it's possible that there are even more exclusive Pokemon that have yet to be revealed.
