"If the Obamas turned up and Donald Trump was snubbed, then that would cause problems for the British government in terms of foreign diplomacy and the special relationship [between the USA and the U.K]", royal biographer Duncan Larcombe told Town and Country.

Prince Charles and Prince William refused to meet with Donald Trump when he visited Windsor castle last week, leaving Queen Elizabeth II alone to greet the controversial United States president. The first two in line to the throne let it be known during informal discussions about the arrangements for the president's four-day trip that they did not want to take part.

"This business of Prince Charles and Prince William not being there for the Trump visit was a snub". It is very very unusual for the Queen to be there on her own.

Former President Barack Obama is reportedly close with Princes William and Harry and their families.

First trailer for Jodie Whittaker's Doctor Who series is released
The new Doctor is is played by Broadchurch actor Jodie Whittaker , who is taking over the mantle from Peter Capaldi. The series is set to return in the fall and will air on BBC and BBC America with ten new episodes.

The meeting between the two seemed to go well enough, however, it has allegedly since come to light that other members of the royal family were keen to remove themselves from this narrative, with The Times reporting that two senior members of the Windsor clan refused to meet the 45th POTUS. "The involvement of other members of the royal Family is different when it is a state visit". The president failed to bow to the Queen before walking in front of her while they were inspecting the guard.

"I guess when they put out blimps to make me feel unwelcome, [there is] no reason for me to go to London", he said to the Sun newspaper.

On Friday, Trump is said to have broken protocol several times after arriving 12 minutes late to the meeting at Windsor Castle. Charles and Trump hold divergent views on climate change, with the US President having declared global warming as a hoax and withdrawn from the Paris climate change agreement, while Charles campaigns on the risks of climate change and has co-authored a book on the topic.

It looks like Prince William, 36, his wife Kate Middleton, 36, and his dad Prince Charles, 69, aren't huge fans of President Donald Trump, 72.
