Brigitte has the lowest healing per second of any support, but also the highest win rate of any support.

An upcoming Overwatch update will bring about some big balance changes to almost all of the game's support heroes, in order to "keep them competitive with each other", developer Geoff Goodman revealed on the Blizzard forums today. Shield Bash is one of the more annoying abilities to play against, and this nerf will have the ability coming up less often. Crossfade's aura radius will also be increased by 20 percent, from 10 meters to 12 meters.

Moira is in a great place, but it's easy for her to run out of healing power if the enemy team just doesn't get close enough to charge.

The developers are increasing the radius to give Lucio players a little more flexibility in movement.

The major issue has generally been that at different points in time, a subset of the Support heroes have been too powerful, resulting in their crowding out of the other options. "For example, Junkrat's ultimate can deal a maximum of 600 damage, which Sound Barrier can now potentially negate completely", Goodman wrote.

Lucio's changes, meanwhile, pertain to his Sound Barrier and Crossfade abilities.

Healing resource base regeneration rate increased 20%. She is supposed to the the healer that has the most consistently high healing output over the course of an entire match, and she still will after her changes, but at its current level it's so high that she's viewed as a must-pick. The developers note that the difference in her healing ability than others makes it hard for other heroes to compete, so the reduction in her healing rate is meant to close the gap a bit, though it is noted that she will still be the "go-to pick for raw healing power". Reducing her healing output will close this gap a little, but she will still maintain her status as the go-to pick for raw healing power. Blizzard thinks Moira is already pretty strong, but the change will help her out in instances where you can't drain enemy resources-really, it'll be important in longer range fights where there are less resources to grab from. He is doing his job well as a hybrid damage/healer and being able to provide discord orb for your team will always be welcome.

These changes are now on the PTR for players to test them out.
