Having played a prison inmate in Orange is the New Black on Netflix, Ruby Rose will return to The CW to take on the title role in a new saga. "I get to be Batwoman", she said. "It's a game changer". "I found out an hour before I did the premiere for "The Meg" and I was so nervous doing the red carpet that I basically skipped everybody because I kept spontaneously crying and I feel like I'm probably gonna do it now". Rose, some claimed, was the "obvious choice", with others saying they haven't been convinced by her acting abilities. "But I'm so thrilled".

During her appearance, Ruby addressed the exciting recent news of her casting as Batwoman for The CW. "I said I wouldn't do that!" "This is something I would have died to have seen on TV when I was a young member of the LGBT community who never felt represented on tv and felt alone and different".

Ruby Rose has won the role of a lifetime.
