Ndossoka reportedly left a note for the children's mother blaming her for their deaths.

A Houston man accused of killing his two children told authorities his 8-year-old son said "daddy, I'm sorry" before having his throat cut, according to court documents obtained Tuesday. When they spoke, she said, Ndossoka said he killed the children and had left her a "present".

A court learned Monday how Jean Pierre told police that his daughter "just kept crying" as his older brother uttered his last words.

After the southwest Houston double slaying, the 61-year-old went on the run.

Ndossoka was found alive a day later in his auto parked in Pasedena.

Marcel Ndossoka is said to have made the harrowing plea just before his death, with his sister Anna Belle also killed the same way at their home in Houston, Tx., Saturday.

If convicted he could face the death penalty.

Jolie and Pitt met in 2003 and Wednesday in 2014 but separated in September 2016 citing irreconcilable differences. Jolie filed for divorce almost two years ago, claiming the separation was "for the health of the family".

KTRK reported that after killing the youngsters, Ndossoka called their mother to tell her he had left her "a present" at their apartment.

Responding officers found a bloody knife and a hand-written note in French near the bed, telling Ntongo she would "carry the burden" of her children's souls. Ndossoka wrote that he planned to die with the kids, records show. Police put out a vehicle description and mounted a search.

But Ndossoka had fled and when police found hium, he had suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

He claimed to have had high blood pressure and while he initially claimed to have not remembered what happened, he admitted that he "did something bad" while at the hospital. The note was written in French and suggested that Jean Pierre meant to die with his children.

"The defendant then admitted that he had done something to his children and when asked 'what?' he motioned towards his neck", court documents stated.
