Barcelona Football Club on Monday announced it has signed Chile worldwide, Arturo Vidal, from German side, Bayern Munich, on a 3 year contract.

The 31-year-old has discussed his delight at signing for the LaLiga champions, and named a few players, including Lionel Messi, he is looking forward to playing with in particular. Following that, Real Madrid have won it in each of the three seasons since, twice knocking out the Chilean while at Bayern. "When we take on Madrid, then we'll see".

"I hope to win three Champions Leagues in the three years I will be here". "I have not been able to win one yet", he said. "I am a rival of all the teams that play against Barcelona from now on".

The Chilean worldwide joined Bayern Munich in 2015 from Juventus, and won the Bundesliga title in each of his three seasons at the club.

Vidal did not limit himself to European success though, as he hopes Barcelona can be a dominant force in every competition.

Raiders DE Khalil Mack could be a trade candidate
Remember, Cooper shares an agent with Mack, so we should probably be prepared for another offseason merry-go-round in 2019. Because Mack is on the previous year of his rookie deal, it removes some of Oakland's bargaining power.

He was in the Chile team that finished runner-up in last year's Confederations Cup in Russian Federation.

Vidal is Barcelona's fourth first-team signing this summer, following the arrivals of Brazilians Malcom and Arthur from Bordeaux and Gremio respectively, and French defender Clement Lenglet from Sevilla.

On Monday, Ivan Rakitic, Samuel Umtiti, Luis Suarez, Philippe Coutinho, Yerry Mina and Thomas Vermaelen rejoined the squad following the World Cup.

"I am excited to play with Messi, Suárez, Sergio Busquets... they are all great players".

Barcelona is the defending Spanish league champion.
