Liverpool have had a successful summer in the transfer window making plenty of quality additions to their squad. What happened in the Champions League final with Loris Karius, yes it was disappointing for the Liverpool supporters on the night losing that game, but we've all been there as players where you have a poor game.

Liverpool have added Naby Keita, Fabinho, Xherdan Shaqiri and Alisson to their ranks this summer as Klopp sought to improve the overall depth of his squad.

After enduring a rough couple of months (exacerbated by a fairly error-strewn pre-season), the German goalkeeper was greeted like a returning hero by the Anfield crowd as he came bounding onto the pitch...

"The great thing about Chelsea under Roman Abramovich is whenever you think they have got problems, they are the one club in the top six who can fight back straight away and win a league".

Ant McPartlin confirms he will NOT return to our screens next year
However the duo said "they will instead bring the show back ( Saturday Night Takeaway ) in 2020, bigger and better than ever". ITV bosses are set to make an announcement about their plans for the upcoming " I'm A Celebrity " series "in due course".

The Reds stormed to victory over the Italians thanks to goals from James Milner, Georginio Wijnaldum, Salah, Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno. "Hendo needs a pre-season but not as much as the others as he has not had long off". "It is nothing serious but it was not possible tonight as he played on Saturday", said Klopp.

I don't like the way the game has gone in terms of the mega-spending on average players, but Neymar's move to Paris Saint-Germain last summer inflated the market to ridiculous levels and it means that fourth choice left-backs are now worth £20m.

The Champions League finalists will kick off as second favourites behind Manchester City, and they're seen as the Citizens' main rivals for a reason, as they dished out one of only two City defeats of the Premier League season previous year.

But while City begin the campaign as firm favourites after their record-breaking title campaign last season, they will be well aware of the threat posed by Juergen Klopp's improving Liverpool and the rest of the big six.
