Doug Field, who stepped down as the senior vice president of engineering at Tesla Inc (TSLA.O) last month, is returning to Apple Inc (AAPL.O), Apple told Reuters on Thursday.

Field will be working with Apple executive Bob Mansfield, who has been heading up Apple's self-driving auto program, Project Titan. This is significant for a couple of reasons.

So what we have now is someone who is already experienced working within Apple who went off and got five years experience at the most successful electric vehicle company in the world so far.

We also got a look a Phobos, which isn't quite as disgusting, as it hasn't been completely overtaken by demons yet. Doom Eternal , the direct sequel to the award-winning and best-selling 2016 version of Doom .

Doug Field will join former colleagues at the Cupertino company where he held the role of vice president of Mac hardware, Apple has confirmed. Field was in charge of overseeing the Model 3 production line, which was plagued with operation glitches.

VentureBeat calls Project Titan Apple's "unusually open secret", with claims "that Apple has flip-flopped between advancing and scaling back the project". Quite possibly, but it's to be expected in such a competitive, new, and growing market. While Apple's auto project has been rumored to have been scaled back over the last few years, a major hire like Field from Tesla suggests Apple still has big plans in the works for their so-called Apple vehicle.
