It's a big deal for me and I am so eternally grateful and feel so blessed that Karan (Johar) has allowed me to be part of this journey.

"I am so excited and hope to do a good job. I am just overwhelmed right now". The young actor was hugely praised for his acting in the film. Dhadak is based on the Marathi film Sairat which was about honour killing. It's not that I have gone to them because I have access.

The film helmed by Shashank Khaitan, mostly opened to positive reviews and was appreciated by audience and critics alike. "I hope I'm not doomed by comparison", Karan was quoted as saying. While sharing the first teaser poster of the historical film, the filmmaker had revealed that the magnum opus revolves around an epic battle for the majestic Mughal throne and is about war for love. While Karan is known for mastering the art of reflecting contemporary relationships on Family, Love and Friendship in films like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham, My Name Is Khan and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Takht definitely stands out of the lot.
