Paul Pogba: 'I can not say how I feel at Manchester United'

Paul Pogba has set Manchester United fans thinking after a cryptic tweet today. "I doubt he'll be going anywhere this season".

"A match where I needed six changes, not three". That's the way I think football is going. "I don't think I was playing as well as I could with my attacking capabilities last season, and that's what I'm known for". Or you believe in the pundits and go with what they say.

For me it's the first one and that's the most important.

"If he upsets too many players because of his way, then ultimately he will lose his job like he did".

"Every team is a good team, forget the name, forget the history, forget the shirt".

Pogba was named captain for night against Leicester with Antonio Valencia sidelined with a calf injury.

Amid rumors that he will sign for Barcelona this summer or in an upcoming transfer window (remember, the transfer window in Spain is open for a few more weeks), Manchester United star Paul Pogba has given a cryptic response regarding his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho left no doubt as to how much he valued Pogba's efforts on the night, adding: "Paul was fantastic - his contribution was wonderful". "We thought maximum (he could play) 60 minutes, but he managed 80".

'He is the first choice, ' added Mourinho. He's a midfield player that technically is very good.

José Mourinho takes aim at Manchester United’s board
"You have to know one thing: a player that gets chosen and is happy, you always feel more comfortable than when he's not happy". He got that from his team's display at Old Trafford, from the way they started so well to how they saw the game out at the end.

'Of course, we have second or third choice in case he is not confident or for some reason doesn't want to take it.

However, he can still rely on one of the world's best goalkeepers as David de Gea put his poor World Cup showing behind him with a fine save to prevent Maddison levelling.

Mourinho also confirmed Pogba had his blessing to take the penalty after what appeared to be a disagreement with Alexis Sanchez.

"We don't have a penalty taker, it's how we feel and I chose to take it". 'I made a decision to take it.

"The players let me I would say lead and give me the space to speak as well, and we have the same objective", he said about his successful summer with France, before pointedly picking out manager Didier Deschamps for special mention.

"Because the players, more often than not, win".

NAIJ.com earlier reported that Anthony Martial was left on the bench in Manchester United's Premier League opener at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils forced into using other options.

And afterwards the new world champion vowed to always work hard "for the people that trust me".

The opening day of a new Premier League season is always bound to produce nerves.
