Vikram's son Dhruv involved in a vehicle accident

Tamil actor Vikram's son Dhruv was involved in an accident early on Sunday morning where he allegedly rammed into three autorickshaws in Teynampet. His vehicle rammed into an auto rickshaw at Tenampet, Chennai which left three people injured. The police are reportedly in the process of ascertaining whether it was a case of drinking and driving. The autorickshaws suffered huge damage.

Police rushed to the spot immediately, and it has been reported that Dhruv was arrested, but was later released on bail. Shockingly, Dhruv and his friends were not tested for drunk and driving. According to police, the investigation into the matter is underway. "We have ruled it out", says a member of the Adyar traffic investigations wing. The driver has reportedly suffered a leg fracture and is now at a hospital, India Today has reported.

Dhruv was reportedly in the auto with two more people, one of whom was arguing with the police and refusing to sit in the police vehicle.

The pictures from the accident site show a battered autorickshaw. A video started doing the rounds on social media, which shows one of Dhruv's friends, Rahul, arguing with the police and then trying to flee from them upon realising that he's being filmed. He was also seen making calls to someone to rescue him from the issue, he also was seen screaming at few people filming the incident.
