Romano revealed her appearance today during "D23's Saturday Morning on the Lot", a live event held at the Burbank studios celebrating ABC and Disney Channel cartoons from 1997-2007, including the original Kim Possible animated series.

Romano talked to ET back in February, stating that it was an honor to voice such a 'strong, positive character, ' and adding that she was 'excited to see her empowering message influence a new generation'.

The live-action Kim Possible Disney Channel Original Movie is a production of Middleton Productions, a subsidiary of Omnifilm Entertainment. "And I'm equally thrilled to see what the original fans think!" As previously mentioned, Oswalt is reprising his role as Professor Dementor.

The Kim Possible movie stars Sadie Stanley as Kim, the everyday high school girl who, in her spare time, saves the world from villains. No release date has been set for the film, but it's expected to premiere on the Disney Channel some time in 2019. The rest of the cast includes Alyson Hannigan, Todd Stashwick, Taylor Ortega, Ciara Wilson, Erika Tham, Issac Ryan Brown, and Connie Ray. In addition to the live-action reboot, she's also scheduled to voice a young bot-fighter in an upcoming episode of Disney Channel's animated series Big Hero 6: The Series.

"That said, as an artist, there's always a part of you that wants to stay connected to the character you helped originate". I'm hopeful they'll do right by Kim and my legacy, ' Romano went on to explain. Romano also shared that she would consider being involved in the live-action version "if the circumstances were right".
