The woman, identified by police as 26-year-old Elizabeth D. Sanders, allegedly wandered into the bathroom of the fast food restaurant and reportedly gave birth to her son in one of the stalls, according to The Chillicothe Gazette.

Sanders, who admitted to using heroin a few days before going into labor, said she "thought she had to pee and then it happened and she does not remember anything else after that", the police report reads, per McClatchy.

Sanders had apparently overdosed and officers found her seated on the toilet with a "ball of heroin on the floor nearby". However, the infant in the toilet was found to be breathing after a movement briefly caused the boy's face to be submerged in water, according to police.

The baby was taken to a hospital.

Police said the baby was expected to be OK, but details on the child's custody couldn't be provided, pending an investigation, a children's services representative told the paper.

Sanders was arrested on an outstanding theft warrant after her release from a hospital, the paper reported.

The Chillicothe Gazette reports authorities found the baby boy while responding to a report about a man passed out in a vehicle at a Burger King in the southern OH city of Chillicothe last week. She pleaded guilty on Monday to her charges, KTLA reported.

Police told Fox News they have since helped Sanders enroll in a drug treatment program.
