Shovel Knight is Joining the Fight in Rivals of Aether

While we still don't have much information on the Switch version of Rivals of Aether, when it does arrive, there will be enough Shovel Knight cameos in Switch games that they could form their own genre.

In a recent blog post, developer dan Fornace revealed that the hero from Yacht Club Games smash hit Shovel Knight would join the game as DLC for $4.99. Ultimate as an assist trophy, but he's still making the rounds as a playable character in plenty of other fighting games. His attacks knock gems out of his opponents which he can collect to increase his treasure. Now the notorious Shovel Knight is joining the ranks. The honorable knight has made his appearance in many games and now he's headed to Rivals of Aether, check out the details below.

In related news, COO Robert David Perdue sold 107,500 shares of the company's stock in a transaction on Friday, May 11th. Thompson Reuters, based on analyst estimates, was for adjusted earnings of $0.44 per share on sales of $104 million.

"RIVALS OF AETHER is an indie fighting game set in a world where warring civilizations summon the power of Fire, Water, Air, and Earth". In addition, it'll include a new stage called Troupple Pond from Shovel Knight. According to today's update, a "Definitive Edition" featuring all the characters, more online features, and Abyss Mode customizations is coming to PC in 2019, and more platforms are also planned.

Rivals of Aether is available now for Xbox One and PC.
