It was followed by the launch of the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 in April. Unlike, Realme 1, the phone will house a fingerprint sensor.

Realme, a company that started out as a sub-brand of Oppo, could soon launch the successor of the Realme 1.

Oppo F9 will likely be launched as F9 Pro in India on August 21. Under the hood, it comes powered by 12nm MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core processor clocked at 2GHz and includes Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The Realme 1 went up for sale in India with a price tag of a meagre Rs 8,999.

In the Philippines, the OPPO F9 with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage will retail at P17,990 (around $336) - as much as its predecessor, the OPPO F7, before the latter's price drop (it's now at P14,990 or $280).

In July, the company announced sales figures of Realme 1 saying that it received an overwhelming response online with over 400,000 units sold in just 40 days. Realme has also stated that it will roll out the Android Pie update to the Realme 1.

Campbell also said officers were executing search warrants Thursday in an effort to get all the bad drugs off the streets. Doctors said some victims improved after being given the opioid overdose antidote drug naxolone, while others did not.

Just this morning, Realme teased its upcoming smartphone Realme 2 by putting a poster on the official website. The graphic showed the upper side of the Realme 2 along with the words "A Notch Above". Dual rear cameras are also visible, which will be an upgrade over the Realme 1's single rear camera.

The back of the F9 gets the same gradient treatment as the OPPO R15 Nebula Special Edition, but the phone introduces a diamond-like pattern to distinguish itself from other color-changing phones out there. As of now, it's unknown whether the back will be made of fibreglass or glass.

However, it was still enough to reveal that the Realme 2 will adopt the notch, and that it will employ a dual-camera system on the back. It also sports rear-facing fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock. Given that Realme 2 is a budget offering, it is expected to come with a slight improvement compared to its predecessor.

The leaked render has now been taken down from Realme's website, along with a leaked retail box image of the Realme 2. GSMArena was able to download the box image before it was taken down. The Realme brand announced its separation from parent phone maker Oppo last month, so it is possible that company might announce the Realme 2 under an independent brand banner.
