British woman rescued from sea 10 hours after falling off cruise ship

The circumstances of the incident are being investigated and the British Embassy in Croatia was informed.

She fell from a Norwegian Star cruise ship (stock picture) at around midnight on Saturday.

They found her more than ten hours later and pulled her from the sea.

She was treated by medics before being taken to hospital in Pula.

She is believed to be out of danger, officials said.

It remains uncertain how the woman ended up in the water.

The British woman, who has not been named, is said to have fallen into the sea from the cruise ship Norwegian Star while on route from the port of Vargarola near Pula, Croatia, in the northern Adriatic towards the south.

However, the 30-year-old knows that Pianeta will give it his best shot because this is the biggest fight of his career and a chance to make a name for himself.

"Norwegian Star will examine their CCTV cameras".

The ship's captain, Lovro Oreskovic, said that she was exhausted.

It said: "We are pleased to advise that the guest was found alive, is now in stable condition, and has been taken ashore in Croatia for further treatment".

The cruise line's website says the Norwegian Star was "recently refurbished" and features "15 delicious dining options, 10 bars and lounges, a sprawling spa" and an "always exciting casino".

A statement from Norwegian Cruise Line confirmed that a guest had gone overboard while the ship was on its way to Venice.

"The ship will be delayed on her return to Venice".
