Magnitude 6.6 quake hits north-east of Raba, Indonesia: USGS

An quake earlier this month rocked the Indonesian island of Lombok, killing more than 400 people and causing hundreds of millions of dollars in damage, according to the government.

European Union member states, the Netherlands and Spain, have also donated U.S. $570,000 and USA $114,000, respectively, to Indonesia, bringing the total European Union aid to USA $1,4 million.

"The displaced people need assistance as the distribution of aid has not been smooth, or even", he said.
