New clue points to Apple Pencil coming to iPhone

Evidently, the new iPhone X 2018 will start at a price of $899 (or approx Rs 62,943). It would certainly be interesting to see how Apple incorporates it into the iPhone experience. As a result, the 2018 iPhones are going to be priced reasonably. Sticking with a stylus that's almost the same length as a phone isn't the most sensible idea in the world, so for Apple's sake it should have a smaller one on the way.

When Apple launched the iPhone X, many believed that its $999 starting price would make it hard for consumers to swallow but with big sales numbers and an increased average selling price, it's clear that was simply not the case.

The latest string of leaks reveals that the upcoming iPhones will sport an AMOLED display while the less expensive version will come with an LCD screen.

If a report from research agency TrendForce is to be believed, Apple's upcoming iPhones will have support for the Apple Pencil, the company's own stylus that acts as a companion input accessory for its iPad tablets. Meanwhile, all three models are expected to be "shipped in September and October as previously scheduled".

Apple: Who needs a stylus?

However, Apple is expected to limit the Dual-SIM functionality to certain regions. "On the other hand, the cost of this model has been approaching that of iPhone 8 Plus due to the upgrades".

The Cupertino giant is expected to launch three new iPhone models this year - one iPhone X successor with an OLED display, one 6.5-inch most premium variant with an OLED display, and another 6.1-inch LCD variant.

"Apple is bound to adjust the prices of this model to meet the market expectation and to further expand its market share". The company may launch the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone with a starting price of around $699 to $749 (roughly Rs. 52,600).

The AMOLED versions will reportedly feature a memory of 4GB. The smaller 5.8-inch iPhone X 2 will have the same specifications as the original iPhone X. The OLED versions of the handsets are expected to start at Dollars 899, which is a USD 100 drop from last year's iPhone X.

The larger iPhone has a 6.5-inch bezel-less screen and is expected to have an OLED screen.
