Madison said several hundred people had gathered outside a Dave & Buster's sports bar in the city's Hollywood area, where the rapper was hosting an event for his new album, "Slime Language". However, things went south when, according to The Blast (via Stereogum), one of his vehicles had "bumped a squad auto that belonged to the police department".

Williams was released from jail Friday morning after posting $35,000 bail, according to police and Los Angeles County booking records. During a subsequent search, cops allegedly found several guns, including an AK-47.

Thug appears to have now been released from prison, with the rapper taking to Instagram just before 5pm today (17 August) to post a selfie with the caption 'Faster then the officers got off...'. Young Thug's publicist declined to comment when Highsnobiety reached out.
