The latest leak apparently confirms some rumors that have been flying around about the Mate 20.

For the second time in as many days, we've got Huawei Mate 20 Lite leaked renders thanks to Evan Blass. This is cheaper than the price of the Mate 10 Lite that was launched in October past year at Euro 399. The previously surfaced firmware files suggested that the Mate 20 will come with a Kirin 980 SoC and include wireless charging support. Huawei is also set to incorporate the "notch" at the top of screens in the Mate series.

As you can see in the provided images, the Huawei Mate 20 Lite will be made out of metal and glass, while it will sport two vertically-aligned cameras on the back, and a fingerprint scanner right below them. Additionally, the Mate 20 will have a bigger battery than the P20 Pro.

The signature feature of the spec sheet is the Huawei own-brand HiSilicon Kirin 980 processor, this is the latest powerhouse CPU from the firm and it is based on the 7nm semiconductor architecture. Android 8.1 Oreo will come pre-installed on the phone, along with Huawei's Emotion UI (EMUI) 8.2 skin.

Meanwhile, Pichai has made repeated trips to China to discuss the project with some of the country's top Communist leaders. According to its most recent quarterly report, Alphabet (Google's parent company), employed 89,058 people as of June 30.

The files for the Huawei Mate 20 showed a handset with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, but this doesn't rule out the possibility of higher tier models, particularly now that Samsung's Galaxy Note 9 has gone for 512GB and 8GB RAM. And for good reason: the famous leaker Roland Quandt was able to get their hands on pictures of this phablet as expected in the version with the less powerful but more accessible financially.

The Huawei Mate 20 Lite is codenamed Sydney and according to a recent discovery by folks at XDA Developers, the device will have model numbers SNE-AL00, SNE-AL00B, SNE-LX1, SNE-LX2, SNE-LX3, and SNE-TL00.

This leak also highlights that there will be at least two colour models; Black and Gold although, Huawei might not keep the markets limited to just two colour variants.
