A GTX 1080 Ti, Huang noted, could only run the Infiltrator demo at approximately 30 FPS.

The RTX 2070 will be available in October, and start at $499 USD, with the RTX 2080 at $699 USD, and the RTX 2080 Ti listed for $999 USD.

Nvidia has just taken the wraps off new graphics chips that offer a significant improvement in "ray tracing", or the process of representing light as pixels and accurately rendering what happens when it encounters virtual objects.

Videocardz has the scoop, the card line up features five new cards - the Ventus, the Aero, the massive Gaming X Trio, the Duke, and the Seahawk - subtle names every single one. The former version of the card weighs in at $799; a pretty steep price but not beyond the wallets of some PC gaming enthusiasts. You can also pre-order the special "Founders Edition" of each card on Nvidia's site.

But if you want more performance, then manual overclocking is also available and there's much you can gain by tuning the cards yourself. "With breakthrough technologies including real time ray tracing and next-gen, ultra-fast GDDR6 memory, we're excited that our new GeForce GTX 2080 Ti and 2080 GPUs are helping Acer create a revolution in gaming realism and performance".

Men, women and children wear their finest clothes and in several households, various delicacies and candies are prepared. The animal is gifted to friends and family, distributed among the poor, while, a part is cooked at home.

All of this is packed beneath an elegant looking cooler which doesn't use the same design pattern as the GeForce 10 series founders edition cards. That new nomenclature is a nod to the ray-tracing capabilities of the new Turing architecture. That may be overstating things a bit - especially given that Nvidia's own United States website jumped the gun by posting photos, specs and pricing details before the official announcement.

NVIDIA is working with developers such as EA, Epic Games, Square Enix on games with ray tracing. And in real-time no less.

After a two-year wait, Nvidia (NVDA) on Monday offered an in-depth look at its next-generation graphics cards, which the company claims will "reinvent computer graphics". An image of the prices from the Nvidia Australian site is reproduced below.

Nvidia's lifted the lid on its new Turing-based video cards, showing off its real-time ray-tracing abilities as part of a keynote presentation ahead of Gamescom in Germany.

For example, Shadow of the Tomb Raider uses ray tracing only for shadows, Assetto Corsa, Battlefield 5, Atomic Heart and some other games use ray tracing only for reflections and refractions, and Metro Exodus uses ray tracing only for global illumination.
